Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using Manan you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to take the questionnaires. By confirming your age before your first questionnaire, you declare that you meet this requirement.
3. What Manan is — and is not
Manan is a tool for self-reflection and entertainment. Its questionnaires are inspired by widely known personality frameworks, but its results are not clinical, medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, and they are not a diagnosis of anything. Do not use results to make medical, legal, hiring, relationship or financial decisions. If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a qualified professional — Manan is not a substitute for one.
4. Accounts
You may take tests anonymously without an account, but saving progress and results requires one. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can delete your account at any time from the My Mirror page; deletion is permanent and removes your answers, results and profile.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, resell, or systematically copy the questionnaires or the service.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.
- Do not use the service to harm, harass or defame anyone.
6. Your data
Your answers and results belong to you. You can download them in a machine-readable format, delete your history, or delete your account entirely — all from the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Independent tool — non-affiliation
Manan is an independent assessment. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with The Myers & Briggs Foundation, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instrument, CPP/The Myers-Briggs Company, or any Enneagram organisation or school. We describe the frameworks generically as the "16 Types" and the Enneagram, and all type descriptions on this site are our original writing. Any trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to reference the underlying framework in a descriptive, nominative way.
8. Characters and public figures
Results may compare you to well-known characters and public figures — for example characters from Marvel or DC — as editorial reference points for personality traits. These references are descriptive, transformative commentary about personality, not merchandise, endorsements, or claims of association. All character names and likenesses remain the property of their respective rights holders. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
9. Intellectual property
The questionnaires, type descriptions, portraits and code of this service are owned by the operator of Manan. You may share your own personal results freely; you may not republish the questionnaires or descriptions at scale without permission.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to use it — which, today, is zero.
11. Changes and availability
We may update these Terms as the service evolves; the date above reflects the current version. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service, though we will not erase your data without giving you notice and a way to export it first.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Kolkata having jurisdiction. This default will be reviewed when the operating entity is formally registered.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the app's support channel. A dedicated contact address and registered operator entity will be published here before formal launch.
